I felt this video deserved its own short story. I created it over the course of three days, during one of those times when I simply felt the urge to edit some Halo footage again. Despite the quick turnaround, I think it came out really well.

I’m not sure who the clips originally belong to — I found them in a random folder on my computer — but they worked perfectly for the vision I had. I chose a catchy pop song for the edit, hoping it might draw a bit more attention. The video itself is a simple two-clip edit, but I think it’s powerful in its own way; short, yet impactful.

A Deeply Personal Foundation

The Bible verse featured in the video is one that’s deeply personal to me — it’s the same one I have tattooed on my left arm:

“Into your hands I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, my faithful God.”

It’s one of my faithful verses from the Book of Psalms.
