Frag Movie Art is a community dedicated to celebrating the creativity, skill, and emotion behind frag movies — cinematic highlight videos born from FPS gaming.
Frag Movie Art (FMA) is a creative gaming art organization built by passionate players, editors, and visionaries who believe that frag movies are more than just gaming clips — they’re a form of digital art.
Our mission is to help FPS highlight videos gain the recognition they deserve within the wider art and media world. Through collaboration, creative showcases, and community events, we aim to bridge the gap between gaming and art culture.
Founded by PTW, alongside veteran creator AYS (Snowball) and passionate Halo editor Photon, our small team works to highlight the best of the montage community and the artists who bring these projects to life.
We’re developing a VR gallery that will serve as a virtual exhibition space — a place where FPS frag movies can be displayed like artwork in a museum. Visitors will be able to experience the skill and creativity of our featured creators in an immersive digital environment.
Our podcast brings the community together through conversation. Hosted by PTW and friends, each episode dives into the creative process behind iconic frag movies and features real creators sharing insights, challenges, and inspiration.
Every year, we host a grassroots competition where FPS creators submit their best montages for recognition and prizes. The event features a panel of expert judges from the Halo montage scene and awards over $1,000 in prizes to the best creators of the year.
Frag Movie Art isn’t just an organization — it’s a growing community of editors, gamers, and creative thinkers. Whether you’re a long-time Halo veteran or just starting to explore the world of montage editing, you’ll find like-minded people who share your passion for turning gameplay into art.
Connect with creators, share your work, and stay updated on our projects and contests.
We’re always looking for passionate people to help us grow and strengthen our mission. If you love gaming, art, or community building, we’d love to have you involved.
