“Another Dimension” — A donk CS2 Edit. This project moves away from the modern trend of complex 3D renders to focus on the roots of the frag movie art form. Combining the aggressive playstyle of donk with the punk energy of the Beastie Boys, I wanted to create something that feels both retro and high-velocity.

The Vision & Style

The aesthetic is built on a “punk” visual language using a consistent color palette and VideoCopilot’s Saber. While many modern edits cut directly to the kills, I chose to emphasize the velocity of each play. By keeping the movement between shots, you can see the incredible speed and timing that sets donk apart as a world-class player.

The Creative Process

A New Challenge: This is my first time editing and releasing a CS2 project. While it was a challenge, I found the process much faster than my usual Halo projects.

Speed & Pacing: This edit was completed in less than a week. The process was streamlined by the nature of CS; syncing kills is much more straightforward than managing the long TTK and “janky” aimer movements often found in Halo.

Audio Mastering: I mastered the audio myself using Premiere Pro 2026 with the assistance of Gemini to ensure the levels and impact matched the energy of the track.

Footage & Quality: Please note that the original footage was pulled directly from YouTube, so the source quality was compromised from the start. I used Topaz AI to enhance the visuals as much as possible; while it looks decent, it took significant effort to bring it to this level given the source material.
